MODULAR TYPE – STUBB
Research started with a font that was created by a German font foundry called Moby Dick.
The font was then adapted as a modular font based on a 2”x2” grid. The modular pieces were
then cut out on 1/4” maple on a laser cutter. The pieces were then adhered to the wood
with double sided tape and printed.
